Following in the tradition of the Vermont Conference on Christianity and the Arts which ran for several years in Middlebury, Burlington, and at the Gove Hill Conference Center, the Vermont Christian Arts Council is excited to relaunch an annual conference on Christianity and the Arts in Vermont to bring together artists and churches in Christian community.
The first new annual conference will be held in September of 2018 in Waterbury, VT featuring nationally known Vermont author Katherine Paterson, acclaimed Nashville singer-songwriter Christopher Williams, and a number of other working artists from a variety of artistic genres.
The 2018 Conference will be held at the Hunger Mountain Christian Assembly in Waterbury Center all day on Saturday, September 29, with a variety of plenary talks and presentations and smaller breakout workshops including a keynote presentation featuring Katherine Paterson. There will also be a special pre-conference concert and gallery display on the evening of Friday, September 28, featuring Christopher Williams who will also lead several workshops on Saturday.
More information about the featured artists, conference schedule, and breakout sessions for this year’s conference is available via the tabs above.
